Virality

Virality; how something can go viral. Offline, but more importantly online, things can go viral all the time. For example, a virus like ‘the cold’ can go viral, especially in winter. However, I doubt you care about that. The type of viral many people care about these days is probably going to be a video of a man jumping 20 feet onto a trampoline and tremendously injuring himself posted all over social media; or something like that.

Another form of virality online, and probably the most popular, are memes. Basically a picture with some sort of funny story or meaning; oh and usually text too. But how do memes go viral? Well first of all they have to be somewhat funny. But most importantly people need to see them. And how is this done? Well social media of course. Today there are thousands of meme pages dedicated to give millions of teenagers there daily meme fix; and that’s just on Instagram alone.

Also a meme needs to be interactive. It needs to include people. Making a meme specifically related to one group of people can massively increase its chance of virality. It could be as simple as a meme about Donald Trump aimed at Americans. You could also try and break the Meme Algorithm; sounds cool, actually pretty easy and not that cool. Just post a meme on Facebook for example and # the word Matt for example. Bang anyone called Matt on Facebook is much more likely to see that meme. How easy was that!

Well start off with a bit of Outrage, then add a little bit of Shock, Comparison, Language play, Personification, mash it up with another meme and then to finish it all off, buy hundreds off bots to spam this video on any social media site physically possible; yes even LinkedIn.
